Combi Boilers

A Combi boiler, also known as a combination boiler, is a type of condensing boiler.
They are the UK’s most popular type of boiler and can be an economical option, as combi boilers only heat the water you use. They are a compact solution perfect for smaller properties.

System Boilers

A System boiler directly heats your central heating system and produces hot water for a storage cylinder.
They work like a conventional (regular) boiler in that they need to store hot water, but unlike conventional boilers they take their water supply directly from the mains. They are a great solution for busy or large households with more than one bathroom.

Conventional Boilers

Conventional boilers (also known as regular, standard or heat-only boilers) operate your central heating system through a separate water cylinder and boiler.
The benefits are similar to a system boiler however customers tend to opt for a conventional boiler if their property has an older radiator system, as it might not be able to cope with the higher water pressure that is delivered by system or combi boilers. They’re also a good option where water pressure is low, as other means can be utilised to increase the domestic water performance in the property e.g. a pump.
